These look great and I wanted to love them, but can't. I installed on a Volvo XC90 with Thule Wingbars and the wind vibration is terrible (the Wingbars by themselves make no noise). Based on the speed it can range from "why is my subwoofer so active?" to "am I having catastrophic drivetrain failure!...

Bought this for my son to haul his surfboards to the beach and it works perfectly! The boards don't move and stay put. So easy to secure with straps as they don't move around on the Surf Pads. We just got these and have used them twice to transport our kayak. They make the tie down easier because they help balance the kayak better than trying to tie it down to a small hard surface. I also feel like it is better for the bottom of the kayak but that may not make any difference at all. So far tho, I am very happy with them and glad I put them on the roof rack.

These pads are great. I put them over the square bars on my rack, they just velcro on. I have transported two SUP boards on the stacked one on top of another and it works great!

Really liking the new design as it provides better protection and does not shift like the old version. It would be nice to have slightly more padding on the top but overall I am very happy with this new pad setup.
