I cannot imagine a better tent
I have had this tent for about 4 years now and have been more than satisfied. I've taken it on on more than 30 trips as well as some backcountry treks and it has preformed perfectly every time with still virtually no signs of wear. It is the perfect size to fit a queen air mattress if you are lookin...

Not the most durable tent
Got this about a year ago. I go with north face because of the warranty. Used this a couple of times. The the bug mesh separated from the tent at the corner. Had to send it in to get fixed. 6 to 8 weeks to repair. Kind of a bummer as this was the tent for me and my son to camp in. Starting to look ...

Disappointed after 25 years
Comments about Stormbreak 3 Tent
We have had a 3 - person North Face tent years ago and used it to travel and hike around South America and Africa. We recently bought a new one for our life and travel in Australia because the we loved our old one so much but the new one has many faults. The zippers on the tent get stuck frequently on the material, especially on the fly. The tent came with two small manufacturing made holes on the floor of the tent near one of the doors. After loving our NF tent from 25 years ago, this one is a disappointment and doesn't live up to our NF standards.

Amazing In Storms
I used this tent for the first time in the Smokey Mountains this summer (summer '24) and a strong thunderstorm hit us for about 16 hours. There were four other people with different tents... all had water that permeated except for my Stormbreak (I guess you could say it really did Break the Storm - sorry of the pun). The tent cover provides a good amount of cover around the tent and is supported off the tent keeping water from coming through where items may be touching the wall. Additionally, the floor of the tent comes up probably 6-8" which helped keep the flowing water around my tent OUT (Most of the other tents in our group got water in them from water flowing around their tent vs the rainfall itself). Two of the other guys in our group ended up buying my tent after they saw how well it held up. I would 100% recommend this tent to anyone.
Happy with the product
I had a Stormbreaker 2. It had rips in the first night of use. Customer service reached out and gave a refund&coupon, I upgraded to the Stormbreak 3 and it's been perfect for months. Get the 3, not 2.
More tent than you would think!
Purchased this tent for car camping activities to replace a worn out 3-person 4-season Mountain Hardwear tent. We chose this tent because of the full fly. It did not disappoint! The full fly is fantastic. This is easy to set up and break down. The price can't be beat. It's hard to find 3-season tents with a full fly, quality materials, and this size - at this price point! I gave it 5 stars because I was skeptical about the price and quality, but was so happy about the purchase after my first night in it!
Sturdy and easy to assemble!!
So easy to assemble! I was late getting to my camp site and the quickness of putting up this tent made it so I want doing everything in the dark! There was also a wild windstorm one evening and the tent held its ground and didn't tear at all. Just enough room inside for me to bring everything in and still feel comfortable with the space. I felt so cozy!!
good tent stood up to a downpour the first night we used it.
stayed dry and it was easy enough my 11 year old daughter put it up.
Great value for money
Super easy to put up, perfect size for myself, my husband and our dog. Would recommend a liner for the floor as material is very think and I put gym matts down so our dogs paws don't rip it!
