The bike feels very good. Was a bit scared by the low-end groupset but with some maintenance it actually feels great. Great for beginners but if you actually wanted to race this seriously, you would probably want to upgrade to a better groupset: more snappier and more gears. Components seem sturdy and allow confidence out on the road. Not the lightest but it's okay.

Shamefully Cheap Components & Headache Inducing Integration
This is one of the most disappointing bicycles I've ever encountered. Routing the cables for the brakes and shifters through the internal headset bearing and stem make servicing a nightmare. This complicated cable routing makes for horrible brake and shift feel because of all the sharp bends in the housing. Not only that, but if you have to replace a cable you must also remove the fork to rout new full length internal housing. This is an issue for a lot of the Scott bicycles with through the bearing cable routing. On this model it's particularly noticeable because of the component spec. The tourney groupset specced on this bike is the cheapest road groupset possible, which means it flexes a good bit. This flex is amplified by the full length cable routing to single pivot mechanical disc calipers. The end result is a heavy bike with shifting and brakes that feel terrible. Sensah or some other components could maybe make this bike better, but you'd be better off buying a different more serviceable bike. The pricetag for this bike is outrageous, there are better bikes available with disc brakes and through axles for under or equal this price.
