Good, even if it doesn't feel like a Rincon

Good, but don't expect it to be a copy of the Rincon 3. Still serviceable as a daily for lighter-gait folks and for speed work. It fits narrower (like a Mach), and the heel cup is a bit lower and less snug than the 3. Hoka seems to have enhanced the tread durability, though I regularly put 500-600...

Tread Worn Down in Under 100 Miles!

My Rincon 4s were delivered 7/22 and I've only worn them 8 days (8.5-9 miles each day, walking on asphalt road). I have 14 pairs of Hokas, mostly Rincon 3s but also Zinals and Challengers. I trade off every 2 days to a different pair (to match my walking outfits and also to give them a chance to br...

I got the Rincon 4 for everyday casual dress. I have the Mach6 shoes for running. I am currently training for my first Ironman 70.3, St George. I usually wear hiking type of shoes for casual dress. Yesterday after a 10 mile run in my Mach6's, I was I put on these Rincon 4's for the rest of the day. My feet and knees love these shoes for recovery. Just walking about a half block down to the mail box and back was a delight in these shoes. I am super happy with these shoes.

Not anything like the 3s

The rincon 3 was the best running shoe I've owned. These feel nothing like them. Much tighter and less flexible around the toes- I could see this causing a lot of discomfort down the road. Exchanged for the Cliftons which are fine but I still miss my rincon 3s… unfortunately might have to move on to non hokas next time

These are not black/grayish. They are lavender/purple. Make sure you see them in person.

Nice looking shoe. The shoe was uncomfortable. It didn't have much cushion like the Bondi 9.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

Our Rincon 4 is a beast on streets with it's balanced cushion but if a plush style is your sweet spot, we have many styles available you'll be sure to love. We think you'll love our Skyward X, boasting a plush sole and a revolutionary suspension system with a convex carbon fiber plate that allows a springy ride. Try yours through our 30-day guarantee bit.ly/HOKA30Day by exchanging your pair here: bit.ly/HOKAEXRT.

please bring back the Rincon 3. the 4 pronates too much and if you have any ankle issues, this is a problem. the Rincon 3 was a better, more stable shoe. why change...it was a great shoe. the Mayo Clinic recommended it for me when I had an ankle issue.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

Having a supportive shoe can be a game changer, and sadly your pair didn't tick all the boxes. The Arahi 7 shoe in our lineup might be a perfect shoe for you since you are looking for more support. This HOKA favorite is one of our stability shoes that features a supportive flat-knit upper, dual gusseted tongue and has our J-Frame™ midsole support for stability. Make your way to our site bit.ly/HOKAEXRT to get your simple exchange started.
