The Radix Mips® Helmet is for the rugged adventurer who appreciates a perfect fit, the sun staying out of their eyes, and plenty of ventilation. The Radix Mips® combines rugged style and durability to meet the demands of core trail riders, with the coverage, light weight and ventilation riders need to ride comfortably and confidently, all day. The highly adjustable Roc Loc® 5 Mips system allows you to customize fit and feel for enhanced stability and long-range comfort while providing an added measure of protection from rotational forces in the event of an angled impact. The P.O.V.™ visor offers 15 degrees of adjustment, and the tough polycarbonate outer shell is fused permanently to the EPS foam liner using an In-Mold construction process, to enhance durability and ventilation without adding excess bulk.

This helmet has proved to be an improvement from my earlier bike helmets. The multipoint suspension system provides superior protection than the earlier generation helmets that I wore for years. The price was quite reasonable too. The helmet arrived from L.L. Bean in a few days. I have been an L.L. Bean customer since 1986 and intend to continue.

A few months ago, I had a bicycle accident while riding my e-bike, and suffered a head injury despite wearing a helmet. As a result, I never ride without one, and always make sure I wear it properly.
