Very Tasty & FIlling
I just had this meal for dinner 15 minutes ago and I found it to be very delicious. The instructions call for 1 3/4 cups of water, but I found 2 cups combined with a 12 minute soak produced a nice consistency (i.e., no chewy pieces).

I'm not disappointed nor am i excited about the taste, I'm caught in the middle. First off would like to point out 2 cups of water is a bit much for this application. I would use 1 3/4 cup of water to make a thicker paste and not like a spaghetti (But thats just my opinion). The taste was very simil...

If you want the short and sweet it is like if stoufers did it right and it's not small. Thick noodles with a perfect al dente and perfect texture, ingredients are legit healthy it has some sodium but drink more water it's good for you! This Sicilian says bon appetite!!! 10/10

I first encountered Freeze dried meals with the Army issued LRRPs. I have never had any issues wth the quality and taste of these products. I will buy agin. BTW I still have several still fully sealed LURP rats that were from the early 70's!!!!!

Lasagna with Meat Sauce on a 1 to 10 rating scale I would give it a solid 8. Matter-of-fact with all the meals so far I've been pleasantly surprised how well they're put together. And I've tried every single different meal in a pouch Mountain House offers. I rated all of them from 2 to 10 depending on our preferred taste (not the quality of the meal). In my opinion you cannot go wrong in purchasing these meals. I had MRE's & Mountain House exceeded our expectations…
