Found it very yummy!
Have had it for a couple years. Decided to try it out. My hot water was no longer boiling and I found it did jot quite reconstitute it all (some dumplings were harder). So make sure you use boiling water. Even still it tasted good. Not too salty. I ate the whole package myself so not sure it is trul...

NEW AND UNIMPROVED
I've had many of these biscuit and gravy pouches. It was hard to believe they weren't homemade and had long term shelf life. The new style pouches contain a horrible new recipe. I'm not sure iif the amount has decreased , both style pouches say two servings, and don't care. This is only about the ta...

All good, but . . .
A few years ago, I got several packets of biscuits and gravy, and was not able to eat those sausage pellets. They were hard and inedible. I did complain, and wonder if any improvements had been made. The biscuits and gravy were good though.
Excellent flavor
I always buy the biscuits an gravy, it's always my go to for breakfast. It's a hardy and filling morning meal
Fills the hole, but that's all
This is my least favorite MH breakfast. It's starchy, the "biscuits" don't rehydrate well, and is kind of slimy texture wise. MH mostly makes a great product for FD food. But this is below their standard
I will eat this again.
After reading the other reviews I opened, prepared and ate a B&G meal. I have eaten it before but with some reviewers claiming that the recipe had been changed I wanted to taste my latest purchased batch. I prepared the envelope exactly as directed. I found the product very palatable. A little salt and pepper and I ate the two serving pouch by myself.

Pretty darn good!
We've had several different kinds of Mountain house, none disappoint! Biscuits and gravy happen to be a family favorite while we're out in the hills.
Good stuff
Just follow the directions (PEZ dispenser easy) and you get a nice bag (or plate) of Bs and Gs. You can vary the mount of water to get the desired texture. Sausage is mildly sesoned and the biscuits rehydrate well. Overall better than any fast food offering. Cheaper too.
One of the best MH makes...
On those cold fall season mornings a hot and filling "comfort" breakfast can't be beat - the sausage, biscuits and gravy meal is just the ticket. Perfect flavor balance with not too much sodium. It's one of my backcountry standards I look forward to having on each of my backpack trips in my back yard, the Rocky Mountains.
Meat quality has degraded since last purchase
Used to be my favorite meal. Recently bought several pouches of this only to discover the recipe has changed specifically the quality of meat has dropped dramatically. The meat chunks used to be my favorite part. Now they taste and feel like gristle. The texture is gag worthy. This is extremely disappointing from a company I expect high quality from.
