Especially when I'm out for several days above 10,000 ft, I tend to loose my appetite (and weight). After a lot of try-outs, this is the only dinner that ALWAYS works for me. It's savory, and stimulates your appetite. Also, it replenishes most of the electrolytes I shed during the day. The used package wraps up really small, so there's not a lot of waste to carry out. It's a personal thing, but I have found that alternating between this meal and a variety of other meals works best for me.Use a long spoon to keep your hands clean.

I've been buying mountain house for 15 years. I backpack and hunt, so when I get back to camp it's great to just add hot water to a pouch and get a good tasting hot meal. Also the pouch are lightweight. Great for backpacking.
