Not designed for daily hard wear use by farmers!
Bitterly disappointed. This is my 2nd pair of Sorel boots and I will NEVER buy Sorel again. If you are looking for light use boots for snow shoveling, grocery store trips, snowmobiling or use that doesn't require much walking this is you boot but if you want an every day, on the farm, live in them 9...

Just wanted to share my dad's story- he's 92 and we just ordered new liners for his Caribous. I asked how many liners he's been through because I remember these boots from when I lived at home. He got to thinking and figured out he got his boots in 1978! He said cold feet made a hunting trip miserable so he stretched his budget to get Caribous and "fell deeply in love" with them (his words). He lived in Illinois and Wisconsin for years with them and still wears them in Nebraska. The uppers and rubber are in great condition and he's still deeply in love. I thought if any product deserves a rave review this is it!

I used your fit guide and rather than sizing down I ordered exact size as I like to wear heavy socks. My foot measurement was 11 so based on your guide I should have ordered 10.5. I ordered 11 and really wished I had ordered a 11.5. The 11 works with athletic socks but now way would they fit with heavy socks. I have yet to wear them as our winter is really mild.

ok. I have always loved the caribou boots but the last two pairs I have had lasted only one year before the rubber cracked. I live in montana where the winters tend to be cold and long so I wear the boots a lot but I am thinking they should last longer than one year. I see this comment a lot so it is obvious there is a problem. I want to like them but the cracking rubber just won't let me.

I bought these boots because I work outside and during the winter months in Massachusetts its cold, I purchased other boots but my feet would get cold, very uncomfortable to have cold feet. I decided to try out these Sorel Caribou boots, best decision I made, they are very comfortable and my feet are warm all day!

These boots are everything I wanted in a replacement pair! I've had my other pair of Sorels for 20 plus years. I bought them to snowboard in and they have lasted that long! highly recommend.
