Altra Fans Rejoice (Part 2)

That was the title of my initial review as I originally got a pair when they were first released. I'm still extremely happy with them. For context, I'm strictly a walker, not a runner. In all shoes, Hoka, Altra, Topo, Keen, etc., I wear a size 11.5. In Hokas, I've had to get 2EE wide in all models s...

My 4th Pair...

Second pair of Gaviota 5 and I have to say that the fit has changed from the Gav 4, which I have 2 pair of. Those are size 11 and they fit perfect. My first Gav 5 was an 11 but felt too large in the length, my local store didn't have a 10.5 so I've settle with the not great feel. It's time to get a ...

They don't last long

They only last about 3 months and I only wear for maybe 3 hours a day. For the price it's unacceptable that they don't last longer than 3 months before falling apart. Don't know if I will ever buy again

Toe Box wear and holes after 160 miles of walking/ 4 months

Submitted 21 days ago

HOKA ONE ONE

Toe box wore out in large toe area after 4 months and about 160 miles of walking on streets / sidewalks, wanted a stability shoe. Great comfortable shoe with roomy toe box, wish it would have longer wear, 4 months is really a short amount of time. . Would not buy again due to premature wear of toe box. Returned under warranty. Never had this issue with other shoes any brand.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE

I've had 3 pairs of these Hokas. All were very comfortable. But all 3 pairs have a squeak to them after about 6 to 8 weeks. I thought it was a fluke on the 1st pair, but nope 2nd and 3rd did it too. Great light and comfortable shoes, but I can't deal with the squeak!

Perfect for walking around a hospital

I work as an Equipment Technician in South Florida and I walk everywhere throughout the hospital. I was using Saucony and Brooks prior, both of those brands of shoes my feet would continuously hurt after a few hours. I can walk 15,000 steps a day in these shoes and afterwards my feet aren't tired or sore. Being that my job requires me to have non slip shoes and comfort shoes, these are the best. Waterproof is even better in the setting I am in. Hoka has a loyal customer, thats the only brand of shoes I will buy now
