The Best Insulated Bottles
I may be mistaken, but I think Polar are the original insulated cycling water bottles. I do know I used them "back in the day"; many years ago. Unfortunately they aren't readily available at most bike shops now, and another brand is prevalent there. I much prefer the valve closure system of the Pola...

Good insulation and cap; NOT dishwasher safe
Polar explicitly states these are dishwasher safe for the top rack. I washed mine on the top rack on a short cycle WITHOUT heated dry, and the tops got warped. Am presently trying to get a warranty claim processed, which is itself a huge pain. Also, I bought the black version of this, but it is nowh...

Excellent for Louisiana Heat
I ride on the Mississippi River Levee Trail. There's ZERO shade. It's been around 100 degrees lately. I fill these up and freeze them overnight. Leave about an inch for expansion and leave the valves open. Top them off before the ride and close the valves. The ice gradually melts and I can start sipping from the bottles in about 30 minutes or less. I'll still have a little chunk of ice in these after 2.5 to 3 hours. At that point, I stop for refills of cold water and that stays pretty cold for at least another hour. I down a lot of water just before I start my ride. On long rides, I put a frozen store bought water bottle in my jersey. That melts in about 15 minutes and I drink from that first and then I'll drink for the Polar Bottles. This extends the range of the Polar Bottles and I can ditch the empty bottle in the trash. Hard to describe how much the cold water helps me deal with the heat. Without non-insulated bottles, my the water in my bottles will quickly reach be air temp in no time, roughly 95 degrees or more. It'll hydrate, but it doesn't cool much. The cold water really helps prevent rising body temps and helps me extend my rides. These bottles have become essential for me.
Happy
Love these bottles! I've been using them for years with no plans to change.
Always the best bottles
Always the best bottles, they are the only bottles that I have used for cycling.
Bottle done and cool
There is no downside to this type of bottle. Cool drink on those hot long distance rides
Polar Water Bottle
It was time to replace my old Polar water bottles that have been good to me for many years.I bought the HydraPak Polar Water Bottles because of the great price for the pair and the satisfaction I've had with my old ones. They fit just right in my water bottle cage and are easy to remove when cycling.
Best water bottles ever made.
Great bottles. Helps keep liquid cool while riding my bicycle. Also use it at the gym.
Excellent liquid carrier--hot or cold
Excellent beverage carriers for hot or cold liquids. I miss the carry strap, however; those straps are extremely convenient.

Polar explicitly states these are dishwasher safe for the top rack. I washed mine on the top rack on a short cycle WITHOUT heated dry, and the tops got warped. Am presently trying to get a warranty claim processed, which is itself a huge pain. Also, I bought the black version of this, but it is nowhere near as dark/black as shown in the picture, I suppose due to the insulation layer.

Made in U.S.A bottle.
This bottle works well and looks great. Love the new cap compared to my old style one. I have used polar bottles for several years and haven't been disappointed. Use it 5 days a week here in Phoenix.
