The Best Insulated Bottles

I may be mistaken, but I think Polar are the original insulated cycling water bottles. I do know I used them "back in the day"; many years ago. Unfortunately they aren't readily available at most bike shops now, and another brand is prevalent there. I much prefer the valve closure system of the Pola...

Good insulation and cap; NOT dishwasher safe

Polar explicitly states these are dishwasher safe for the top rack. I washed mine on the top rack on a short cycle WITHOUT heated dry, and the tops got warped. Am presently trying to get a warranty claim processed, which is itself a huge pain. Also, I bought the black version of this, but it is nowh...

I have started replacing all of my water bottles with the Polar Breakaway Insulated 20oz water bottles. This is my is my second two pack that I have ordered. The insulated water bottles keep my water/hydration drink colder than other water bottles. I am a cyclist who rides 2-4 hours at a time who enjoys a cool drink during the ride.

I am Not a bicycle enthusiast but I like my cold water cold. When I purchased a new bike I saw a nice display of these and it has now done double duty. It replaced my every every day going to work bottle and I snap it into the cage on my bike. It fits perfectly, and I love the grip. What I like most about this spout is that there's no backwash involved! It's a very easy squirt into your mouth with no ambiguity as to whether it's coming out. I will purchase one of these for my daughter for Christmas because her bottles are not insulated and it makes a huge difference. Once you freeze a little bit of it and add some cold water to it it's good for hours. Plus I'm happy when a quality product is made in America

Picked one up a month ago, first use was on a hot day.....20 minutes into my ride, my first drink was warm...Next time I thought I'd put it in the freezer AND add ice which I always do with my standard bottles. 63 degrees outside, 30 minutes into my ride, warm water. Not worth the expense.

Love this bottle for nordic skiing. If I wear my bottle holder under my jacket, my hydration fluids stay liquid for a couple of hours in sub zero temperatures.

This water bottle spout makes it very easy to drink water while cycling. The opening is exposed to the elements unless you purchase the extra cap, however, so it might get dirty over time.

I much prefer the valve closure system of the Polar bottles and won't use anything else again. They're just great bottles that do what they're supposed to and do it really really well, without leaking. I'm really glad I rediscovered Polar bottles!

Excellent product. Love the colors. Keeps drinks cold for a couple of hours. I prefer the sport cap over the breakaway cap. I found that liquids tend to remain in the top of the breakaway cap and spill over the outside of the bottle and the bike frame. I don't have the same problem with the sport cap. Customer service is first rate!

Amazing bottles and an amazing company, easy buy. This is just a personal thing, but I just can't get used to the surge top, I prefer the old style, but that's just me.

Insulated bottle keeps water cool for 2-3 hours on a hot day. The spout has a higher flow so you a get more fluid at a time. Great product.
