Not the best anymore
Gregory's Baltoro was probably the best choice when it comes to quality, practicality and value, but the truth must be spoken. The new 2022 'version' of the backpack is a downgrade of what it was before. It's not just a lack of previously included raincover and a daypack/hydration pouch holder, it l...

Spacious, Burley, and Heavy
Seems like I could fit more than 65L in this pack but the pack itself contributed a lot of weight. Extra pockets were minimal which is good in my opinion. I enjoyed having access to the main body of the pack through the zipper and my water bottle through the angled holder. After my first trip my sho...

Ultralight Bag!
This is the first framed pack I've used since the old school aluminum external framed packs. Major upgrade in the best ways. It's very rigid but nothing flat or uncomfortable is touching your body. It fits a mountain of gear inside but the bag itself feels like it weighs nothing, especially when the beefy waist belt is properly fitted. Every component of the bag seems adjustable in one way or another which is really nice but there are a lot of straps so it could be a little confusing at first. Overall it's an amazing bag that's super comfortable and feather light. I might want wider webbing on the chest strap if I could change anything but I have a wider chest and that may not bother someone with a smaller frame.
After my first trip my shoulders hurt, but after adjusting the size for the next trip my shoulders hurt less. A zipper cord broke on the first trip. My gear goes through a lot of abuse so having a tough pack is good. It is a good pack, but I think there are lighter and more nimble packs out there.
Very comfortable and durable Pack
This pack fit great, has great adjustability, and has amazing access points. I have backpacked for will over 20-years and this is one of the most functional backpacks I have ever owned. The bottom access for sleeping bag and pad is a must in a pack. The front zipper access makes it very convenient for on-the-trail stops. The back vents well and carries weight very efficiently. Highly recommended!!
Most Comfortable Pack There Is
Regardless of the length of trip, I have found the Baltoro 65 to be the most comfortable and flexible pack there is. The suspension system allows the load to float with you and does not hinder your movement. Easy access to your water bottle without removing the pack is an added plus. I do find it odd that Gregory discontinued providing a rain cover at the same time other manufacturers started including one for free. Still the most comfortable pack there is.
Solid pack for multi-day hike
I used this on a summer backpacking trip in the Smokies. Stable load mechanism worked great while carrying up & down rocky trails. Was comfortable to carry with ~30 lbs of gear. Ventilation in the back panel worked well in the heat even with a sweaty back. Plenty of organization pockets, straps etc. I like the built in bladder hook that works with other brands of bladders. Only detractor is that it didn't include a rain cover.

Very comfortable With a great variety of puckets Balanced on the back Hi hiked with it a lot
Downgraded Modal
The modal is a downgrade from the previous version and from the BALTORO 75. No include rain cover no include hydration/day pack.
Worth the Extra Weight
A little heavy but carries the weight much better than UL packs.
Great Pack
This is my first pack. It's comfortable when loaded (45 lbs) Multiple pockets and gear hooks give you options to fit everything you need
The most comfortable pack I've owned
I absolutely love this pack. After years of ultralight packs not quite cutting it in the comfort department, I decided to try something different. This was a whole new world. It's so so comfortable, with all the nifty features that make a big difference; the sunglasses loop&sinch, the easily reachable botttle pocket, the front and bottom access to the main compartment, ample space in the hip pockets. There's nothing I don't like about it. It's the rolls Royce of packs. The added weight is worth the comfort. I took it on a 12-day hike with with a considerable load and was never sore. Not a sore shoulder or hip. It moves with my body perfectly. High five to this pack!
