Anyone who knows me knows another camp light is the last thing i need. Owning many Coleman lanterns and other sources of light. But i am like my brother calls a Coleman snob. The styling of this caught my eye and I decided i had to have one. I was surprised that it has some weight and seems very well built. Im not much of a fan of led light but it puts off a soft lighting. The high setting is bright but not so much that it annoys. In fact i used this the entire weekend and never did fire up my gas lantern. Its a neat little item for camp or even just a hike in the dark. Thanks Coleman!

Love the design. Light is way too bright and white. I had to put a orange GEL inside to give it the warm light you want when you are camping! Took some time to do. Now I love.

This lantern is fabulous! The old time look brings an ambiance when using the lantern outdoors. The handle makes it super easy to carry around. You can hang it from a post, tent, etc. The light it puts out is bright and leads the path.

I bought this last month to take to a music festival we were attending. It was in the middle of no where at a rodeo ground. No power on site in any way. This little lantern saved the day. We used the brightest setting to light the path to the bathrooms and the dim setting in our tent. This thing is so Brite we didn't need any other lights. It seems really sturdy. It's not super heavy and I love that the handle has a can hook.

I got this to try for camping weekends and I am so glad I did. Not only is it adorable, with its old times appearance but it works well also. The carabiner is nice to be able to hang or attach also.

This is a great lantern. It's got all the nostalgia and excellent design lines of vintage camping lanterns with the conveniences of modern construction. It's not overly bright, but to me this is a good quality. The lamp is a warm color and works well in the dark to avoid hot spots and artificial light quality. The lamp housing is ridged and diffuses the light in a way that hides the source. It's a really well designed product from what I've seen. It's all metal and heavy duty lamp housing. The handle seems to be well made with a durable rubberized sleeve to fit well in your hand without slipping. There's a convenient clip for easy hanging on a chain or tied camping line. There are two settings for brightness and an off setting. The dial to control those settings are on top of the fixture. This same location is where the battery sleeve is located. It's fairly light weight and easy to carry and doesn't sag to much on a taught line. My one complaint is that it's battery operated and not a rechargeable style power source. I think avid campers might prefer the battery source though, so I interpret this to be an intentional decision and one that I can adjust to with proper planning.

I'm very impressed with this lantern. It is heavier than it looks and just feels really solid. The handle is comfortable for just being a bar and with the integrated clip it would be easy to hang. The "on"switch has a nice firm click to it as well. There are two light settings, low and high and both can be used to see your way on a path at night. Overall it's very solid and very well made.

The funniest this was when this lantern arrived, it was literally one day after we had a power outage and I wish it had came in a day sooner. This lantern is very bright. It has 2 different settings for brightness and the best part is that it takes double A batteries which we always have plenty of at home so I don't have to worry about it not being charged when needed or needing to buy different batteries for it.

We lost power and the 1900 COLLECTION 200L LANTERN C002 heled so much. We will take it caning once the weather is better, to. We plan to have an indoor campout on New years eve . We are excited to use it.

I will admit that I wanted this lantern because it looked like an old lantern a lighthouse keeper would use in the fog. I love the vintage look! But it turns out it is more than just a look - it has two levels of brightness and they really function for the light that you may need. It's easy to carry with the lantern handle - but it also sits nicely on a table and illuminates the circle around it. It's a great LED lantern. I highly recommend it.
