This is thickly padded, almost as if it was designed to muffle sound. Light, however, comes in over the top of the nose and under the bottom around the nose. The thick padding squashes the eyeballs and the thick head strap cuts into the top of the ears. I find it both uncomfortable and ineffective. It might work if it just so happens to fit your head. I will have to buy another model.

Sadly left my previous version on a plane last year. It had deep eye cups which kept the pressure off the eyes. When I woke my face looked fine and mascara intact! This one looks pretty but no eye cups and the edge of th mask leaves a big mark all around your eyes and there is pressure on the eyes. I gave it away.
