    Fit feels custom made

The fit is ultra supportive while also being super comfortable. I can't imagine another shoe matching up to this.

Loved the fit. My issue is that there's rough areas around the ankle inside near the shoestrings where they are sewn. When I walked around my living room, it rubbed my ankles so I know that I wouldn't be able to wear them on walks/hikes. Very disappointing because I really like the way they look. I...

Excelled in Three Days Hiking in the Rockies Backcountry

I did what you are not supposed to do, and took these hiking boots on a three day backcountry wilderness trip without ever breaking them in. They worked perfectly! The boots are super comfortable, and have a good balance of flex and support. The grip worked well over rock scramble, and even did OK on the snow patches. I took a size 9.5, as I do in all running shoes, vs my everyday shoe size 9. Great hiking downhill. Easy to lace & get on and off. No blisters. Super impressed.

Hoka on my feet 12,000 miles and counting

I've been wearing Hoka since I discovered the brand. 12,000 miles on the mountains and a lifetime to go. I don't wear any other hiking shoes, Hoka is the only brand that keeps my feet in perfect shape no blisters, no falls, no problems hiking the trails. I love introducing all my friends to the brand. If you suffer from feet issues Hoka is definitely the shoe to wear. If you're in the medical field I encourage you to also get some Hoka in your life. Hoka shoes are for everyone. I love my Hoka hiking boots. I buy a pair every 250-300 miles.

I'm rescinding my previous review that I can't find. These shoes are horrendous on my feet. I wanted to love them. I thought they had stretched out enough for my bunions but they did not. I tried to go for a walk on them and had to turn around and come back home when my toes went numb and my legs started getting shooting pains up the sides. Never felt that before and don't ever want to feel that pain again. That was 24 hours ago and my feet and legs are STILL hurting. It's a shame too because I love hoka but I don't understand why they can't offer decent hiking boots that are waterproof or at the very least water resistant in pretty colors. But they don't, they offer 3 colors: dookie brown, dookie brown with a hint of purple or solid black but they're sold out of the solid black. Which who wants to wear those colors anyway?! I do not recommend these shoes and it makes me sad too.

I bought these last minute for a hiking trip in Canada and was nervous about not having the opportunity to break them in before leaving. This was not a problem as they fit perfectly and were so comfortable right out of the box. I love all my other Hokas as well and will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come.

These boots are the lightest boots I've ever put on my feet! I laughed out loud when I opened the box and pulled them out. I couldn't believe these were boots. Next, I have a wide foot and was concerned about these being too narrow since they don't come in a wide option. I'll say this, when I first put them on I was like oh no. But I kept them on for about an hour and after that hour I realized they had loosened up and weren't bothering my bunions at all. Yeah I have the bunions, they aren't fun but these shoes make them bearable. Now day two, I'm realizing that these don't need a "break-in" period like other brands. I cannot say enough how impressed I am that these shoes are so light and comfortable!

Hoka suggested I try a men's shoe since the woman's waterproof shoes do not come in wide. I tried 8.5 men's shoe and still too narrow. The Bondis with the extra room in toe box are what my bunions need. Alas they don't make a waterproof shoe with the extra toe room.

We're always looking to add additional styles, sizes and colors to our line-up and we greatly appreciate your feedback. In the mean time, we recommend giving our Bondi SR a try, boasting maximum cushion and a water-resistant leather upper.
