I'm totally bummed. These weren't great. The worst part was that the sole of the shoe was slippery!! I generally run on a treadmill and have with all my other cliftons. These were so slippery I had to stop mid run to put my old ones on. I'm bummed and I'm worried that they'll all be like this. I sure hope not!!

Not as comfortable as previous Hoka shoes

Quite disappointed in this hoka version - other hoka shoes purchashed took zero time to break in and left the base of my foot very comfortable. It's not clear what modified on this version of clifton 9, but they are uncomfortable. I should also note the photo looks more yellow, in person they are more green.

Love Clifton 9s but hate the color

I'm loyal to Hoka and Clifton 9s, but this celery green color just looks dirty. Wish I had seen it in person before buying.

The shoe is extremely comfortable and supportive, however I'm consistently upset that they only make wide shoes in the worst or most basic colors. I'm never buying an all white shoe, they look terrible after one or two days of use. Give me one of the bright pretty colors as a choice instead of black, white, or muted colors. Also, the little grippy nubs from the bottom of the shoe fall off relatively soon after regular wear, but that's true of all hokas in my experience so far.
I would never buy this style of hoka again.

I'm on my feet 8 hours a day on concrete. I had to go home early because the heel pain these sneakers caused I couldn't walk. I wore them for about a week thinking they would feel better once broken in. That was a bad decision.

My first experience with Hoya was a number of years ago when I had plantar fasciitis. I always say that it's the Hoya that made that painful condition go away. The support is sublime. Walking feels "just right," although I'm not sure what I mean by that. It just does. I find them expensive, and will always look for sales, but even if I had to pay the unreduced price, I would. They're just great!!

These sneakers are by far the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn! They have grear arch support, but are also very plush and lightweight. I was having really bad heel pain as well as back pain, and these have been an absolute game changer!
