Description
Street-approved. Trail tested. Built at the intersection of road and trail, the Challenger 7 has been completely reimagined from the ground up. Combining a simplified mesh upper with a soft new foam, Hoka increased the stack height for a plusher feel and added proprietary rubber to the bottom unit, along with a reimagined outsole design for the best all-terrain ride yet. Inspired by gravel tires, they’ve cued up smaller, tightly spaced lugs in center and larger, more aggressive lugs at the perimeter designed for improved traction on uneven terrain.

Love this shoe.
I love this shoe. It's got comfort and support. I wear it 7 days a week. I have narrow heals and it fits well. I have to go down a half size on hokas in comparison to oboz.

Hoka ruined an incredible design
As someone with wide feet and orthopedic issues (i had a sesamoid removed in 2015), I have to be careful about the shoes I choose. HOKA faithfully served me for 6 years, and they have now narrowed a bunch of their designs so much that they caused nerve pain on the outside of my foot. I am assumin...

Ladies Challenger
After completing survey, this midrange shoe for most trails and warm months is the best training shoe by Hoka. Lightweight too
ouch. ouch ouch.
ouch ouch ouch. they're so hard it's like wrapping bricks around my feet. i don't understand people run in these? these are more painful than high heels. and sadly i had that forever flu when they arrived a month ago so can't return them.

Light , Comfortable and versatile
First time I wore them I wasn't quiet sure I liked them. My feet hurt a little but each time I put them on and took them for a spin they got more and more comfortable. They have a great tread for trail running and adapt right back into asphalt. I have come to love them.
The Hype Faded
I was extra excited to try my new Hoka's after using my OnCloud for a couple of months. I was very disappointed with the comfort. I've only had them for a few days, I'll come back in a couple of weeks to see if they grown on me. I will order a different style to see if that was the issue.
Perfect for Sedona Trails
I wore these on easy to moderate trails while hiking in Sedona and they were awesome!
I would buy this product again
I was completely unsatisfied with the first pair of shoes I bought. HOKA gave me a full refund and my second pair of a different style are great!
