Description
A grippy, responsive ride for technical terrain. There’s only one GOAT on the trail. And this is it. Combining HOKA’s tried and true cushioning with aggressive traction and ultralight materials, the Speedgoat 6 was born to tame the trail. A workhorse for technical terrain, this recent reissue was refined with a breathable woven textile upper, foot-hugging internal chassis, plusher dual gusset tongue, and revised lug orientation inspired by the hoof of a goat (what else?)

A poorly designed tongue
While the overall design of the Speedgoat is good, the tongue is terrible. The tongue has very little cushion, and nearly none at the top. As a consequence, the shoe laces dig into the top of my feet when cinching. At the end of a hike I find that the bones at the top of my feet are bruised. I REALLY hope that Hoka redesigns the tongue in its next version of the speedgoat.
