I would buy again and I do recommend them to friends!
I love them, and I will keep buying them! I am a tall, 73-year-old woman who doesn't keep being overweight and having foot and joint issues keep me off the trails. Sizing: I bought a men's size 11D. I normally wear a women's 12B, The D width Hokas our narrower than usual and fit the front of my ...

Waterproof, painful, awkward, looks different in person.
I used the Kaha2 for work. After trying this boot out for a week, I am still looking for a comfortable, waterproof boot that I can wear all day. I could not bear the pain this boot caused me. I immediately noticed that one boot was defective in the heel. The split-heel design would not allow the bo...

Started off great
started off as a 5 very comfortable and warm .I was really pleased ,but boot didn't hold up unlike their sneakers. Toe box is seperating from rest of boot allowing water and snow to permeate the boot .I can now see the insulation at the toe box . Boots didn't last 6 months. I'll have to look for another vendor for boots.

When tearing up the trail, we understand how important it is to have a pair that stands the test of time. Due to many different factors such as terrain, frequency of wear and natural elements, some pairs may wear quicker than others. You are always welcome to send in your pair to be evaluated through our one-year warranty for manufacturing and material defects. To get started and learn more, click here: bit.ly/HOKAWty.
Very comfy boot
Very sturdy comfortable boot. Light weight as well. Highly recommend!
Men's Kaha 2 GTX
Boot was disappointing. Toe box was too narrow. Lace eyelets metal backing dug into ankle bones. Outside sole had a large opening at rear of shoe that collected large rocks that stuck in sole. Laces were not long enough.

Your disappointment sounds justified. We know the fit of your boots is number one priority, and we suggest you check out our Anacapa 2 Mid GTX. They are wider than the Kaha style and they have more cushioned support, so they may be the boot for you. You can check out the specs on them using our shoe finder tool here: bit.ly/HOKAShoeFinder. Ordered my usual size but sent back because too small. Going to try a pair on at my local retailer.
A great fit
These half boots are light and very comfortable. They have great support. Definitely would recommend.
Very comfy but they destroy my feet.
I know the title sounds like a contradiction. I've used they on several backpacking trips at this point, probably totaling around 100 mile. I was research spendy purchases and while reading about this boot I saw a review that said they create blisters on the inside of heels. I assumed the person had the wrong size or bar socks or something and bought them anyways. I wanted a boot that had the comfort and lightness that made Hoka Ona Ona famous. On every trip I've taken these on and even some of the short break-in walks these blisters happened to me. Just like the comment said on the inside of both of my heels. I tried different hiking socks and lacing methods. I bought them in the exact size as all my other hiking shoes/ boots. Nothing helped every hike I have to ask my friends to wait around while bandage the large and painful open sores on my feet. That's the main complaints but there are smaller ones too. The tongue just barely gets past the top lace, sometimes slipping onto you shin. There's only a goretex version which is not worth it in drier climates like the south west due to reduced breathability. Finally the soft rubber on the bottom loses its grip surprisingly quick. There are some cool features like the swallow-tail heel for stability on descents and hoka's very high quality sole. At the end of the day it doesn't matter how cushy the ride is if your feet are being scarred (not an exaggeration). I strongly recommend waiting for the next model to see if they fix the issue.

It sounds like this may not be the best style for your needs. We recommend our Anacapa Breeze Mid, engineered for warmer climates, based on your feedback. With a Vibram sole, extended heel and plush cushion, we're sure this style can get you through the longest hikes on the toughest trails. Give them a try through our 30-day guarantee bit.ly/HOKA30Day.
Great Service
Unfortunately I have to return the shoe I bought for my son, they were to small. But I will look forward to exchanging them thank you 🙏🏻
So far so good
Haven't had these long. So far they are good. I have several Hoka tennis shoes that I love. Gave a 4 rating based on fit and comfort. Ask me again after some good hiking trips and I'll tell you more.
