Great Purchase
These shoes are amazing. I purchased them to use on a residential job site. I am 260 lbs over 50 and I still cover a lot of ground while working. I work at a fast pace all day, my joints take a pounding with that weight. Yep I know they are not safety shoes but when you get home and all of your joi...

No go, to narrow
A+ shoe and quality. A+ Tread is perfectly aggressive. A+ for comfort and support. Fit: (8.5W) grade: D- If you aren't afflicted with the same foot issues as I am (I'm a 4e, slender heel and flat foot) then you want to ignore this review. Let me start by saying I've become an expert shoe fitte...

Mixed Results - Great Comfort but Ankle Design is Bad
As a long-time SpeedGoat fan, I tried something new: the Anacapa Breeze Mid. I sized up to 11.5 to accommodate my wide foot. While this review contains suggestions for improving the Anacapa, it does have some positives: the heel loop makes the shoe easy to put on, the Vibram tread is excellent, and the footbed offers classic Hoka comfort—firm yet comfortable all day. However, there are significant issues. The excessive ankle padding creates gaps between the Achilles tendon and ankle bone. This bulky design leads to poor fit in the upper mid-ankle area, creating perfect entry points for trail debris. Combined with the heavily padded tongue, the ankle fit is problematic—the laces can't close evenly over the padding, causing pressure points and allowing more debris to enter. I'm now considering removing some padding to improve the ankle fit. I hope the product team revisits this design, but until then, I'll stick with SpeedGoat and gaiters.
I would buy this product again
Great pair of footwear, feels like I'm walking of air. Wonderful experience, Hoka has become my brand from here on out. Thank you for the experience!
Feel great
The gray is a little darker than i had hoped, the high tops are a bit wider than i like. But i love the hokas more every day
Not comfortable
I had a hard time spending this much money on a pair of sneakers. But I have flat feet and I've tried a lot of other brands and by the time you pay for inserts and the shoes you've almost have the same invested. With that said I bought a pair of Hoka sneakers and was simply amazed with the comfort best shoe I've ever wore and I'm 60. I even bought a pair for the wife and she loves them so when I paid what I recently did for these latest Hoka hiker I didn't blink and eye and waited to finely have a comfortable shoe for work. Only t say these are the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever wore I'm on my feet almost 9 hrs a day. I'll continue to wear them cause I paid for them but won't buy another pair of these stiles again and it seems the right one is worse then the left and very hard to hook the laces the last two hooks.

Through our 30-day guarantee bit.ly/HOKA30Day you can easily exchange your pair here: bit.ly/HOKAEXRT.
Not happy with my purchase
The shoes have been worn a handful of times and they are making a squeaking noise.

Official Response by HOKA ONE ONE
That squeaking definitely sounds annoying. That is a sign of a defective shoe. Fortunately, you have 30 days to try out your order before committing to the purchase, so take advantage and create an exchange label for another pair here: bit.ly/HOKAEXRT.
Good boot but ...
It is a very light boot and seems well-made. It came with laces that were much too short. I only have about three inches of lace on each side to tie. These boots do not have as much padding as other Hoka models. I would recommend these boots if they came with longer laces.
I wouldn't buy it again.
I wore the shoes for a hike near the reservoir and somehow the shoes tripped me. I fell three times on my way to the bus. I my have tied them wrong and that caused then to trip me. I will try to wear them near home after tying them better. What a problem
